• 1994–2002 — The Dream & CC8S: After years of prototyping, Koenigsegg launched the CC8S in 2002. Its pre-impregnated carbon fiber chassis and unique Dihedral Synchro-Helix doors immediately put the boutique Swedish brand on the map.
• 2005–2010 — World Records & Biofuel Power: The CCR broke the McLaren F1’s production car top speed record at Nardò (241.1 mph). Soon after, the CCXR debuted as the world’s first green hypercar, engineered to run on E85 flex-fuel to produce over 1,000 hp.
• 2014 — The World’s First Megacar: The One:1 achieved a theoretical 1:1 power-to-weight ratio (1,360 PS to 1,360 kg), making it the world’s first production “Megacar” (1 Megawatt of power).
• 2015–Present — Direct Drive & Freevalve Revolution: The Regera introduced Koenigsegg Direct Drive (KDD), eliminating the traditional gearbox entirely. Today, cars like the 4-seater Gemera and the 1,600+ hp Jesko continue to shatter speed and acceleration records worldwide.
