McLaren Heritage

McLaren was founded in 1963 by New Zealand racing driver Bruce McLaren. The company first gained worldwide recognition in Formula 1, where it became one of the most successful racing teams in history. Over the years, McLaren won numerous Formula 1 World Championships with legendary drivers such as Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Lewis Hamilton, and Mika Häkkinen.

In 1992, McLaren entered the road car market with the iconic McLaren F1, which became famous for its revolutionary design and was the world’s fastest production car for many years. Building on this success, McLaren Automotive was established in 2010 to produce high-performance luxury sports cars and supercars.

Today, McLaren combines advanced engineering, lightweight carbon-fiber technology, and racing experience to create some of the world’s fastest and most innovative road cars. The brand’s heritage is built on a legacy of speed, precision, and continuous innovation inspired by its Formula 1 roots.
