Farreri 250 GTO

  • What It Is: Built from 1962 to 1964, “GTO” stands for Gran Turismo Omologato. It was designed specifically to dominate GT championship racing.
  • The Engine: Powered by a legendary 3.0-liter V12 producing ~300 hp, capable of a 174 mph top speed and a 0–60 time of around 5.4 seconds.
  • The Design: Lightweight aluminum body hand-sculpted by Scaglietti, featuring a long nose, iconic triple air intakes, and a bare-bones cabin stripped of all luxury to save weight.
  • Racing Record: Unstoppable in its era, securing three consecutive FIA World Championships from 1962 to 1964.
  • Legacy: Only 36 units were ever made. Today, it is regarded as the ultimate collector car, with individual examples valued between $50M and $70M+.
